OVCC has a very active youth ministry, known as J.U.M.P. (Jesus and Us Ministering to People)  This ministry is divided into a Junior High and High School group that meet at church every Friday night at 7:30pm.  OVCC lives by the philosophy that our youth are not the future of our church but are the “now” of our church where our students are equipped to become the influencers God desires them to be. In addition to Fridays, JUMP meets on Sundays for worship and enjoys activities throughout the year (ice cream socials, recreation nights, dinner outings, Praise Hula dancing, drama teams, camping trips/retreats, service projects, etc).   Come and make friendships that will last a lifetime!  If you have any questions, contact our Associate Pastor Joe Castillo:

JUMP Event This Friday, we are having our October event at Golfland in Sunnyvale. We start at 7:30pm and it will go until 9:30pm. The cost is $10 for a round of golf and 2 slices of pizza. Event
JUMP Kick-Off Hello, Youths and Parents!   For those of you who have started school already, we hope you're having a good week so far. This Friday is our JUMP Kick-Off and as in years past, it's an ICE CREAM SOCIAL. Our staff will be providing the ice cream. And you provide the topping. If there's a favorite topping you have (nuts, candies, etc.) please bring some for you and for others.    Also, for Friday, we will have one more rehearsal time for those of you performing at Ohana so please be prepared for that also.   Event
JUMP Meeting Practical Faith This summer we will be memorizing various passages of Scripture - some you already know and some you may not have memorized yet. It is our hope that you see the wisdom, practicality and usefulness of having Scripture memorized so when new or challenging circumstances arrive in your life, you can lean on the Word of God. This week's key verse will be 2 Corinthians 5:17. Ohana preparation is also planned for this Friday.  Event
