Missions Ministry

Orchard Valley desires to be more than a church with a missions program; we seek to be a missional church. This means that our mission field begins the moment we step out our front door and view ourselves not merely as senders but a “sent people” to the world where we live. Our mission field then extends to distant nations as we work in partnership with missionaries in Northern China, Thailand, the Philippines and Paraguay. Our partnership with our missionaries includes sending short-term mission teams to help serve in various capacities. In addition to these endeavors, OVCC is highly involved in the JEMS Special Camp ministry for the developmental disabled.

Compassion Ministry

Orchard Valley strongly believes that the people who matter to God must also matter to us. Since the Bible clearly teaches us that God has a heart especially for the poor, the widows and the orphans, Orchard Valley has a Compassion ministry to seek how we may care and minister to these people in a loving, tangible way. Currently, our church is in partnership with local ministries such as City Team, Heritage Home, and Second Harvest, and oversea ministries like Zoe International Children’s Ministries in Thailand.
