Sunday Ministry

Orchard Valley is a friendly place where we encourage you to be yourself.  Feel free to wear whatever you are most comfortable in.  When you arrive at the church, you will notice a Welcome Table outside our Worship Hall.  Our crew behind that table will be able to give you a nametag (everyone wears one, not just our guests), direct you to a friendly Greeter who can assist you to a seat and answer any questions you may have.

The beginning of the service includes contemporary Christian worship, led by our worship team.  Words are provided on the screen, so please feel free to sing or read along.  You may notice that we value worshipping God in a personal style and that we have a congregation full of children, youth, and adults of all ages who value the phrase, “come-as-you-are.”  It doesn’t matter what you wear or where you are on your faith journey — everyone is welcome here!

After our announcement time, we dismiss the children to the  Children's program (KFC) as we briefly greet one another.  Then Pastor Curt or Joe (or a guest speaker) delivers a Bible message.  You’ll find that we seek to teach the Bible in a way that is accurate, honest, easily understood, fun, and relevant in addressing the life issues we face today.

After our message, we end with a song and dismiss for fellowship and snacks where we join our children.  We want you to feel as comfortable as possible at Orchard Valley.  If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
