Community Groups
We like to say that Orchard Valley is not a church with small groups, but a church of small groups because we believe small groups are the places where life-change and relationship-building happen best. It’s within these groups where you’ll find it safe to meet new people, be accepted for who you are, and grow deeper in your understanding of God and yourself. These bonds prevent any person from standing alone. Our community groups offer their members a safe setting to use their gifts and talents to serve others, as well as a “home base” to enjoy warm fellowship, food and fun. Community groups provide a great opportunity for you to be in community!

Community Groups Meeting this Fall
Campbell-San Jose Community Group
Facilitator - Steve Kim
The Campbell-San Jose Community Group meets in person at someone’s home on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, to discuss the sermon and to pray for one another.
Bible Study Community Group
Facilitator - Tina Chang
The Bible Study Community Group meets online every 2 weeks to study the Bible, using the video resources of RightNow Media. This Fall, the group is studying the book of Malachi. In this study, they will listen in on 6 conversations between God and His people, who were lost in spiritual apathy, as recorded by the prophet Malachi. This study is for those who want to choose renewed reverence toward God, instead of spiritual complacency.
Fremont-Sunnyvale Community Group
Facilitators - Dave & Sharleen Koide
The Fremont-Sunnyvale Community Group meets twice a month, alternating between online on Friday evenings at 7:30 pm and in person on Saturday mornings at 9:30 am at someone's home. This Fall, the group is studying the book of Mark. Who is this Jesus, we call the Messiah? How does knowing him impact our lives today? This study is for those who desire to see Jesus for the first time or reconnect and deepen their relationship with the Messiah.
