Hospitality Ministry
The Orchard Valley Christian Church family strives to show hospitality to all who attend our services. Our ushers, who are known as forerunners, will warmly welcome the attendees of our church services. And if this is your first time at Orchard Valley, they will help you to meet others in the congregation.
Each Sunday, a family volunteers to bring refreshments to share with the congregation during the Fellowship Hour following the worship service. We hope you will enjoy these treats as you fellowship with others during this time.
Our Hospitality Ministry helps to organize church gatherings to allow everyone to get to know each other better and to build community in our church. Annually, we host an Easter luncheon, a summer picnic, and a Christmas-time international potluck.
We also encourage others to build community by hosting smaller ad hoc events like playing basketball, biking, going to movies, or attending craft boutiques. We hope that these activities will help to build stronger bonds among those who attend our church as well as warmly welcome those who are new.
